The Victoria Cougars Jr. Hockey Club would like to congratulate Suneil Karod on his hiring by the Victoria Grizzlies Jr A Hockey Club as Assistant Coach and Assistant General Manager. Suneil has been an integral part of building this years team. The Victoria Cougars goal every year is to move players onto higher divisions of hockey. It is fantastic when a part of our management staff gets recognized and moves on as well.
“The Cougars have always been home for me,” said Suneil Karod. “I developed as a coach and person while I have been with the organization. They have done so much for me and provided me with every opportunity to grow as a coach. It’s a great environment for players, volunteers and coaches. I can’t thank them enough. I want to specially thank Tony for the continued support through the years, and to Brody and Phil for bringing me back and giving me the chance to stay involved and engaged in hockey, which is a big reason I’ve been able to move up again.”
