SIGNED: Suneil Karod as General Manager

The Cougars are proud to announce that we’ve hired Suneil Karod as our General Manager for the 2021-22 season. Cougars Head Coach Brody Coulter had this to say, “We couldn’t be happier to add Suneil to our staff. Him and I have worked together here for the better part of 8 years and I’m looking forward to yet another chapter. He understands what it means to be a Cougar and we hope this helps our effort to provide opportunities for the players in our program.” “I’m excited to be joining the Cougars in this role,” said Suneil Karod. “After spending the last few years in Junior A and working with Western League teams I feel I can really help players develop, not only in their game, but what it takes on the mental side of things to make the jump to the next level. I feel my experience can also be a resource for the coaching staff when they need to brainstorm or bounce around ideas. This will be a different role than I’ve had in the past, but I’m really looking forward to getting to work. I’m going to be focused on the quality of player development, including mentoring the players on being good people as well. We want players that are capable of performing on the ice, but also willing to be active in the community.”
