COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT
The Victoria Cougars are honoured to officially announce that Mike Vandekamp has accepted the position of Head Coach and General Manager. His addition marks a significant milestone for our team.
Mike brings an impressive 30 years of experience coaching at the Junior A level across the AJHL, BCHL, and WHL. He is widely recognized as a respected leader with a deep understanding of the game. His coaching pedigree, strategic knowledge, and extensive connections within the community will be instrumental in taking our program to the next level.
His ability to recruit and develop top talent is second to none, and we’re confident his leadership behind the bench will usher in a new era of excellence for the Cougars. As preparations for the new season begin, we’re confident that Mike’s vision and expertise will elevate every aspect of our program. His leadership sets a strong foundation for success.
