Cougars Alumni Game A Success

It was a goaltenders battle at the Arch on Thursday night with Team Fisher beating Team Linger 17-15. Lots of fun for the participants and fans. Afterwards there was a lot of catching up for old friends and teammates.

This was also a fundraiser for Cougars Alumnus Josh Wyatt who is fighting his own battle against Cancer.

There was fantastic news earlier in the day when Josh heard from his doctor that his recent PET Scan revealed that he was in remission.

We couldn’t have gotten any better news than that. The team and fans came out and supported both the game and the Silent Auction in a big way. A big thank you from all of us to everyone who helped out with their contributions, prayers and positive thoughts to help out a good hockey player and even more important a good person.

In all the Cougars were able to raise $5372 to help Josh with the incredible medical bills.

Thank-you to all the fans who came to support our brother, and to all the Alumni who put on a fun show.
