Cougars Aquire Goaltender From Calgary

The Cougars have acquired 2001 born goaltender, Jonah Chambers, from the Golden Rockets. Chambers who calls Calgary home, originally from Winnipeg, played for the Calgary Buffaloes at the 2019 Telus Cup in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Head Coach Brody Coulter had this to say about the new net-minder – “We are very excited to announce the signing of Jonah Chambers. His midget team competed in the 2019 Telus cup as one of the top midget teams in all of Canada last season and we are hoping he can bring that experience to our team. I’ve been told Jonah’s work ethic is second to none and we look forward to seeing what he is able to accomplish in a Cougars uniform.”

Chambers is expected to be in the lineup Friday versus Peninsula as the Cougars face the top team in the VI on the road.
