COUGARS ALUMNUS DONS THE STRIPES AT KEYSTONE CUP

Corey Koop, former Victoria Cougars netminder, has been named as one of ten linesmen to work the Keystone Cup.

British Columbia will be represented by the KIJHL champion Beaver Valley Nitehawks who defeated the VIJHL champion Campbell River Storm just last week.

After his time with Victoria, Koop went on to play for Winkler Flyers, Neepawa Natives, and Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League before playing collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and the College of Saint Scholastica.

The Keystone Cup runs April 13-16 in Arborg, Manitoba.
