The Victoria Cougars are pleased to announce that Dane Feeney is their Player of the Week for the period ending December 17.
In back-to-back games, Feeney recorded five points.
Feeney scored twice against the Westshore Wolves last Thursday before tallying two goals and an assist versus the Peninsula Panthers.
“Dane has been a consistent player for us this year,” Cougars’ associate coach Suneil Karod said.
Through 30 games, Feeney has been left off the score sheet only five times.
“Not only is he putting up good numbers, he has worked tirelessly to improve his game away from the puck and it is showing in his defensive play,” Karod said. “Dane is a threat in all aspects of the game and has fit into a good Cougar.”
Feeney is ranked fourth in league scoring with 24 goals and 28 assists for 52 points.
